Alessandro Inversini is an accomplished academic expert in Digital Transformation primarily applied to the field of Travel, Tourism and Hospitality. Dr. Inversini serves as Full Professor in Marketing at EHL Hospitality Business School; this role involves not only teaching but also leading local, national, and international research initiatives and projects exploring the impacts of human-centered digital transformation in society with a clear focus on hospitality and tourism.
Alessandro’s career has always been marked by a blend of academic pursuits and practical experience, which included collaborations with various international organizations and businesses in the travel field.
Alessandro is currently the director of the Resilient Tourism project, a Swiss initiative funded by Innosuisse under the Flagship action aiming at supporting the datafication of the Swiss travel sector to boost its competitiveness. Thanks to this project and to several other collaborations, Alessandro uses his academic expertise to consult services businesses in their digital transformation journeys, always stressing the role of the human being as central in every technological progress.
