Meet our speakers

Dr Philippe Masset

Associate Professor & Specialization Director

Philippe Masset is an Associate Professor of Finance at EHL Hospitality Business School. He serves as President of the Alliance for Research on Wine & Hospitality Management (ARWHM), board member of the European Association of Wine Economists (EuAWE), and Associate Editor of the Journal of Wine Economics and the Harvard Data Science Review. He is also Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Prévotel Pension Fund and a member of the Investment Committee of Hotela. His research interests include alternative investments, as well as wine and hospitality economics. He has been a visiting professor at several institutions, including Kedge and the University of Bordeaux, and has delivered academic and professional lectures in numerous settings. He received the Best Presentation Award at the annual conference of the European Association of Wine Economists (2011, University of Angers) and at the annual conference of the American Association of Wine Economists (2012, Princeton University).

Marc Ziegler

MSc. in Hospitality Management Student

Marc is pursuing a Master in Hospitality Management (Finance, Real Estate & Consulting) at EHL and is a hospitality professional with deep roots in his family’s hotel, along with experience in various roles at luxury properties. His background combines operational expertise with an increasing focus on finance and real estate within the hospitality industry. He is currently expanding this perspective through a Consulting Internship at PwC Middle East and his Business Immersion Project on hotel operating models in emerging markets.
