Meet our speakers

Dr. Nicole Hinrichs

MBA Program Director

Dr. Nicole Hinrichs is the MBA Program Director at EHL Hospitality Business School. She also teaches in the EMBA program at EPFL in Lausanne and serves as a Visiting Reader at Imperial College London. Her academic experience includes roles at Columbia Business School and the Wharton School in the United States, as well as at ETH Zurich in Switzerland. Nicole earned her doctorate summa cum laude from the University of St. Gallen following several years as a strategy consultant and in senior strategic roles within the banking sector.
She teaches across undergraduate, master’s, PhD, and executive-level programs, including online courses, with a focus on transformational change, strategic decision-making, and entrepreneurship.

David Schnarch

Program Development Manager

David Schnarch is the Academic Lead for the new EHL MBA for Hospitality and Service Industries. Drawing on his extensive experience designing immersive, learning-by-doing programs, he is shaping an innovative, future-focused MBA built around interdisciplinarity and competency development. He works closely with faculty, industry partners, alumni, and global organizations to ensure the program meets the evolving needs of hospitality and service-driven sectors. His approach combines strategic thinking, human-centric leadership, and real-world application to prepare professionals to lead confidently in an environment defined by complexity, innovation, and experience-driven value.

Before joining EHL, David served as MBA Academic Director at Universidad de los Andes, where he led major program redesigns and launched new online learning initiatives. In parallel, he has advised organizations across sectors on cultural transformation, strategy implementation, and organizational redesign. His academic background includes an MSc in Economic Sociology from the London School of Economics, an Executive Diploma in Strategy and Innovation from the University of Oxford, and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Universidad de los Andes.
