Your Fast-Track to a Career in Global Luxury

ehl-lvmh-logo

Luxury doesn't work the same way in Paris, Shanghai, and Singapore. The brands, the products, even the values, they travel. The way clients are served, the stories that create desire, the expectations of the room: those are deeply local. Understanding that gap is where careers in this industry begin.

The EHL × LVMH Certificate in Luxury Retail and Hospitality is a collaboration between EHL, the world's leading hospitality school, and LVMH, the group behind more than 75 of the most recognized names in luxury. It is designed for people who are at the start of their careers in this industry: curious, serious, and ready to learn by being inside it, not just studying it.

Over six months, you move between Lausanne, Paris, Singapore, and China not as a tourist but as someone working through real briefs set by LVMH Maisons. You see how the same brand operates differently on a Paris shop floor, in a Singapore flagship, and in China's fast-moving retail environment. You work on that difference. That is the learning.

Learn Luxury from the Ground Up

Through real projects and time spent in luxury environments, you'll understand how the industry works and develop the foundational knowledge to enter it as a professional.

Learn Luxury Firsthand across Europe and Asia

Two continents. Field visits to LVMH boutiques and retail operations in Paris, Singapore, and China. Business projects briefed by Maison teams, not invented for a classroom. By the time you finish, you have spent six months inside the industry, not reading about it.

Build Access, Not Just Ambition

Individual mentoring sessions with LVMH managers — people working inside the Maisons right now — give you a direct line into how the industry thinks, what it values, and what it looks for. EHL's career coaching helps you turn that understanding into a professional profile that lands.

Two Real Projects. Two Markets. Real Stakes.

Take on two business projects, one for a European market, one for Asia-Pacific, each briefed by an LVMH Maison team. You research, you analyze, and you present your findings to industry professionals. It is not a simulation. The brief is real, the context is real, and what you produce is assessed by people who know the difference.

Your Learning Outcomes

What you will gain

Learning Objectives

  • A Global Strategic Mindset: Guest sessions with LVMH executives, field visits to flagship retail sites across Paris, Singapore, and China, and two business projects developed with Maison teams. You engage with the industry's content, not a version of it designed for a classroom.

  • EHL Career Coaching & LVMH Mentoring: Dedicated coaching sessions focused on understanding what luxury employers actually look for. Individual sessions with LVMH managers working across the Group's Maisons and business functions. Not a panel talk, a direct conversation about the industry, your profile, and where you might fit into it.

  • A professional network you would not build otherwise: The people you meet during this program (peers from across the world, faculty, mentors, and LVMH managers) are your first professional community in this industry. That matters more than it sounds, in a sector where relationships open more doors than CVs.

  • Develop Cross-Market Strategic Thinking: Build the cross-cultural intelligence and analytical skills to understand how luxury retail operates across European and APAC markets. Translate insights into actionable recommendations for luxury Maisons operating at a global scale.

  • Innovate with Purpose: Explore innovative strategies and best practices in design, marketing, and branding to enhance the lasting appeal of luxury products, services, and experiences.

  • Master Customer Experience and Service Excellence: Drawing on EHL's world-leading expertise in hospitality and business management, you will learn how to enhance customer journeys, build clienteling capabilities, and create unique, immersive experiences in luxury retail.

  • Build Management Capabilities for Career Progression: Develop the management foundations needed to fast-track your career in luxury. These capabilities equip you with a strong competitive advantage to advance quickly toward leadership positions.

  • Create Desirable and Responsible Luxury Value: Analyze the interplay between luxury positioning and sustainability to redefine brand desirability in line with evolving consumer expectations and social responsibility.

During this learning experience, you will design a Retail Innovation Pilot, working in teams to develop a modern luxury store experience that combines human connection with digital capability. This hands-on project strengthens your ability to drive innovation, create exceptional customer experiences, and understand what makes luxury retail operations perform in practice.

4

APAC Business Project – 6 Weeks (Online)

Building on the insights gained in Singapore and China, you will complete a second Business Project focused on an APAC market challenge for an LVMH Maison.
