Biography
Mr Davide Dargenio is a Lecturer Practical Arts at the EHL. He worked in England (at the Fat Duck and Le Manoir Aux Quat'Saisons), in France (at the Oustau de Baumanière, les Gorges de Pennafort), in Italy (Da Vittorio), and in Switzerland (Chalet d’ Adrien) in the biggest Michelin-starred restaurants in these countries. In 2018, he has been crowned the Best Sommelier of Italy, organized by the Italian Sommelier Association (Milan). In 2015, Davide arrived at EHL, where he worked as head sommelier at the Berceau des Sens, until August 2019. He was in charge of the operational part, but also of the pedagogical part. He was teaching to the students the approach with the customers and the food-wine pairing.
Davide was then promoted Lecturer and is currently teaching oenology. During his professionnal experience, Davide acquired extensive knowledge on F&B management and global oenological knowledge, which he likes to share with the students.
