A-HES Subsidy
Through the financial agreement between EHL and the Haute Ecole Spécialisée de Suisse occidentale (HES-SO), eligible students can benefit from the A-HES subsidy.
This initiative is available from the first year of the Master’s in Hospitality Management program and supports students meeting specific residency and eligibility criteria.

Admissions Requirements for the Master in Hospitality Management
A Bachelor degree (or its international equivalent) in hospitality, tourism, or business management is preferred. However, applicants with a Bachelor's degree in a related field may be considered. Those admitted under this category will be required to complete pre-requisite modules during the summer to establish a foundational understanding of business and economics, as well as gain contextual insight into the hospitality industry.

A minimum of six months’ professional experience in the hospitality industry is required. Internships are included. Through your cover letter and interview, you should also show your interest in hospitality & service and dedication to develop a career in these industries.
- IELTS Academic: Overall 7.0 | Speaking & Listening: 7.0
- Cambridge C1 Advanced: Grade B | Speaking & Listening: Grade B
- TOEFL iBT: Overall 100 | Speaking & Listening: 25
- Duolingo English Test: Overall 130 | Speaking & Listening: 130
- TOEFL Essentials: Overall 10,5 | Speaking & Listening: 10
- A full-time degree or diploma that lasted at least nine months,
- Was offered by a recognized institution,
- Was taught and assessed entirely in English, and
- Was completed within two years of your intended program start date.
- You have at least two years of full-time work experience in English,
- You used English daily for reading, writing, listening, and speaking,
- You worked in a professional environment that required clear and effective communication, and
- You held that position within the past two years (i.e., it ended recently or is still ongoing).
